June S. Barron
  June S. Barron passed away May 27, 2004 peacefully at home in Sandy, Utah.
  Born July 23, 1922 to Homer H. and Lucile Barron in Sigurd, Utah. Active member of the LDS Church. June graduated from Richfield High School. Later attended BAC (SUU) and graduated with a B.S. and an M.S. from Utah State University. Served in the Army Air Corps. Employed by Farmer's Home Administration for 35 years, retired in 1985. Served in many church callings including bishop, high council member, and temple worker.
  June was an avid gardener and was a recipient of the Sandy City Beautification Award. Married Olive Louise Thorpe on May 10, 1944 in the Manti LDS Temple.
  Survived by his wife and seven children, Cheryl (Wess) Roberts, Lara (Steven) Halladay, Annette (David) Shaw, Joan (Clair) Morris, Beverlee (Rand) Olsen, James (Rhonda) Barron, Julie (Buddy) Zarbock; 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Una Pace; many nieces and nephews.   Preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister. June and Louise were recently honored at their 60th wedding anniversary celebration surrounded by all their children and loved ones.
  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 1 at 12:00 noon at the LDS Chapel on 8600 S. 1500 E., Sandy. Viewing prior that morning 10:00 to 11:30 a.m . Viewing Monday, May 31 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 10600 S. 1950 E., Sandy. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
