Bernice Beno E. Schnell, age 70, of 228 South Glenview Avenue, Brillion, passed away on October 1, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her family. Beno was born on May 3, 1941 in Greenleaf, daughter of the late Henry and Cecilia (Freeman) Van Hulst. On August 24, 1963, she married Buzz Schnell at East Wrightstown Catholic Church. Beno enjoyed playing cards, shooting pool and darts, rolling dice, fishing, and especially spending time with her family. Beno is survived by her husband of 48 years, Buzz of Brillion; their five children, Todd of Fond du Lac, Wendy White of Oshkosh, Tina Schnell of Black Creek, Jeffrey (Trisha) of School Hill, and Patrick of Brillion; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; three sisters and three brothers-in-law: Florence Morrison of Green Bay, Evelyn (Bob) Rausch of Green Bay, Alice (Dick) Hazaert of De Pere, and Ron Schnell, CA; one brother and two sister-in-law: Norb (Carol) Van Hulst of De Pere and Janice (Red) Willems, Asketon; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Beno was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law: Wally Morrison. Private family services were held.
