Mrs. Catherine Munder, one or the oldest Germans in Baltimore, died Saturday at her residence, 1035 St. Paul street, in the 95th year of her age. She had been confined to bed for nearly three years. Mrs. Munder was the wife of the late Charles Frederick Munder. She came to Baltimore when 20 years old, accompanied by an elder sister, and her intention was to return to her native land. In Baltimore, however, she again met Mr. Chas. F. Munder. whom she had known in Germany, and they decided to marry. She was identified with the Lutheran Church and was noted for her kindly disposition and Christian character. Three children, namely, Mr. Henry Munder of Pennsylvania. Mrs. William A. Wisong and Mrs. Wm. A. Marburg, of Baltimore, survive her, also twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her pallbearers will be six of her grandsons: Messrs. Charles Marburg, Wm. Marburg. Albert Marburg, Willie Munder, Norman Munder and Maurice Munder.
