Peggy Jo Encinia Obituary

Peggy Jo Encinia passed away in her home in Conroe, TX, on March 4, 2022, at the age of 79. She was born February 4, 1943, to parents, E.B Creech and Geraldine Creech (Sparks) in Ft. Stockton, TX.

Her family eventually moved to Midland, TX, where Peggy attended school and met her first husband and the father of her three children, James E. Morris, who passed away in January 1977.

Peggy then met Domingo G. "Sonny" Encinia Jr., while working at TXT as an accountant. Peggy and Sonny were married in October of 1977 and built a beautiful life together. Peggy and Sonny were married for 47 years and loved each other with every ounce of their being; they were an amazing couple.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Betty Stone (Creech); and brother, Eugene Braswell Creech.

She is survived by her sister, Louise Parten of FL; her six children: James B. Morris and wife Traci of Tulsa, OK, Gerri Lynette Gillenwater (Morris) and husband Dennis of Beaumont, TX, Rex Morris and wife Della of Conroe, TX, Ricky Encinia and wife Diana of Mathis, TX, Lorraine Huerta and husband Erasmo of Mathis TX, and Domingo Encinia III and wife Cher of Georgetown, TX; 17 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; along with other family members and friends.

A joint celebration of life will be held at Peggy and Sonny's church, Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Conroe, Texas on March 30, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. followed by services and internment of ashes at Conroe Memorial Park Cemetery at 1703 Porter Rd, Conroe, Texas 77301.
