Jim was a long time resident of Roseville and even adopted the name Mayor in his mind. He worked for over 35 years as a dedicated employee of JM Schneider's and following that enjoyed 25 years of retirement. He was born in Kitchener to Carl and Loretta Devitt. Jim instilled his love of family and gatherings to all who knew him. He was warm, loving, and had a great sense of humour even to the end. We all live on borrowed time and when one goes so unexpectedly it is a heartbreaking experience, but as Jim said in some of his last words, "This is not goodbye, it is until we meet again".
