He is survived by his brother, Bruce; children, Robin Heyne (Len) and Travis Hale (Andrea); grandchildren, Ciara Moore (Jacob), Christa Johnson (Jack), Cassie Heyne and Carrieann Heyne; and great-grandson due in August.
He was a veteran of the Army. He retired from Bank of America after 29 years as an AVP, Facilities Manager. He was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church.
The family will receive family and friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy., Powhatan, Va. 23139. A Celebration of Life will be held 12 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Bethel Baptist Church, 1100 Huguenot Springs Rd., Midlothian, Va. 23113. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
