She moved with her family from MO in 1904 to Meridian, Idaho. Her father was a farmer. Her parents were kind and gentle people— just like her husband. She attended school in Meridian and learned to cook, clean, and sew from her mother. She liked to ride horses. She was a loving and friendly person. Siblings: Edward Berlin 10/11/1891. Baby 9/8/1897. She and Harry, who worked at the Meridian Dairy, refurbished houses in Meridian, Eagle, Kuna, and Bowmont. They moved with their first four children to Marshfield, OR, in1922; and then to Jefferson, OR, in 1930, then to Salem where they lived at 2283 Claude Street until they passed. Goldie would sit on her front porch and visit with neighbors. They all sought her counsel. She was a strong woman who always loved and supported her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. We miss her everyday.
