Carl Anthony Needham, Sr., age 67, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the Carteret Health Care Hospital in Morehead City, NC. Born March 5, 1953, in Mineral Springs, NC, he was the son of the late Arthur Carl and Mary Lillie Odem Needham. Carl worked as a diesel mechanic for Martin Marietta. He loved the ocean and the beach, and classic Chevy automobiles. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Christopher Dale Needham; and one brother, Arthur Carl Needham, Jr. Those left to cherish Carl's memory includes two sons, Barry William Needham and wife Brittany, and Carl Anthony Needham and wife Alyssa, all of Bozoo, WV; one sister, Annette Davis and husband Eugene of Seagrove, NC; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00PM on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Pastor Terry Kornegay officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00PM until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
