Donna Diane Bowens
Deceased on January 31, 2022 at the age of 73 years old.
Diane was born in Green Bay WI, to Rosetta (Langlais) Bowens. She was raised in Antigo, WI graduating from Antigo High School continuing on with a 2 year art degree at Eau Clair College, after which she joined her sisters in the Fox Valley eventually settling in Appleton, WI.

Survived by her sister Joanne (Gene) Derfus, Diane was preceded in death her sisters, Donna (William) Aldrich, Carol (Mike) Bezotte, Nancy (Richard) Stanke and her brother Jerome (Joey) Bowens in death.

Diane loved her dogs Soro and Snickers, preferring their company to some people. And they loved her. They traveled everywhere with her and she taught them the most amazing tricks.

Her passions were Art and Music, she often shared her talent as gifts with paintings and guitar lessons. She was first to start strumming and singing at family gatherings encouraging others to chime in regardless if it were playing an instrument, belting out a tune or dancing. Her creativity was boundless!

Diane will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews, Robert (Elia) Aldrich, Kathy (Chris) Schlegl, Karon (Tom) Towns, Thomas (Connie) Aldrich, David (Teri) Lewis, Dani Bezotte, Jim (Jennifer) Bezotte, Micheal (Stacy) Stanke, Jackie (John) Bell, Vickie Stanke, and a multitude of great nieces and nephews.

Baha'i prayers will be held Monday, February 7, 11 am at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St, Appleton, WI 54911, (920) 733-5435.
