Ila Mae Burroughs-Grace, 79, of Tomball, passed away May 23, 2022. She was born April 9, 1943, in Pasadena, Texas to the late Leonard O. Kendrick and Dona Lee Kendrick.
She is survived by her son, Chester Bryan Burroughs III and wife Terra Burroughs; daughter Annette Collins and husband Ernest J. "EJ" Collins; grandchildren, Chester Bryan Burroughs IV and wife Hali, Lacey Ann Burroughs, Emaleigh Jordanne Burroughs, Tyler Logan Burroughs, Nicole Lee Collins, and Katie Danielle Collins; great granddaughter, Lyla Knight; and sister, Dona Sue Ford and husband David.
Ila grew up in Pasadena, Texas and graduated from Pasadena high school in 1961. She married her late husband Chester Bryan Burroughs Jr. April 29, 1966 and was married until his passing in 1993. She worked for Bank of The Southwest downtown now known as Chase for 27 years until she retired and worked for Life-touch Photography until 2014. Ila remarried Billy Grace on May 19, 2012 and was married until his passing in 2014. Ila spent her years of retirement spending time with her kids and grandkids who were her whole world.
She would talk often about how proud she was of her children & grandchildren. Ila was very caring and generous and knew how to make someone smile. She was the light in so many peoples lives and she will be sorely missed but is rejoicing with our Heavenly Father and her loved ones in Heaven.
