She worked for Lincoln Telephone & Telegraphs before working over 30 years as a clerk at the Wahoo Sale Barn. She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and St. Ludmilla Guild. She enjoyed gardening, her farm animals and loved spending time with her family.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Larry Jelinek, Robert (Ruth) Jelinek, Teri (Joe) Sloup, Jim Jelinek and Ron (Maria) Jelinek; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Ostry; sister-in-law, Ann Bruha; many nieces and nephews.
