Fay Adams - age 84 of Lathrop, MO passed away Friday night, May 20, 2022, at her home. Fay was born on September 20, 1937, the daughter of James Henry and Zora Leola (Bray) Wadley in Talihina, OK. Fay grew up in Talihina and McAlester, OK and attended school there. On March 23rd, 1963, she was united in marriage to Ralph Adams, Sr. in Miami, OK. They made their home in Lathrop and were together for almost 53 years, before Ralph passed away. Fay believed strongly in service to your community and over the years worked in her family-owned restaurants both in Oklahoma and Kansas City. She and Ralph later provided this same community service as the owners of Ralph's Cafe and City Cafe in Lathrop. Fay devoted herself to caring for others as a CNA at Pleasant Valley Manor until her retirement to spend more time with her family. She was a member of the Lathrop First Baptist Church. She loved to read and loved her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Fay was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Adams Sr; daughters, Debbie Russell and Baby Girl Adams; granddaughter, Gail Sue Osborn; and siblings, Helen Green, Luella Wackerman, Mary Stempel, Jackie Wadley, and James Wadley Jr. She is survived by her children, Linda Coots, James Russell (Jenny), Charlotte Evanson (Scott), Carol Holt (Buck), Ralph Clinton Adams Jr., and LaDonna Morgan (Darrell); sixteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; brother, James Edward Wadley (Paula); other extended family members also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Northland Therapeutic Center in care of the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Forest Hill Cemetery in Kansas City. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 24th, 2022, at Stith Funeral Home in Lathrop.
