"All the old time friends were deeply grieved by the death of Mrs. Ross Clark, who died in the hospital at Topeka Sunday, at the age of 53 years. Her maiden name was Mix, and she was born and raised on Snokomo. She was an excellent woman and raised a good family. Besides her husband, Ross Clark, she leaves eight sons and one daughter, Harry, Harley, Herman, Homer, Howard, Henry, Harvey, Harold, and Florence Manning. She also leaves her father, Jasper Mix of Topeka, three brothers and two sisters and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. and she was laid to rest in the Bethlehem Cemetery on Snokomo."

She married Charles Ross Clark on November 6, 1896.
