Final rites for Arnold Douglas (Doug) Jett, 45, of Shady Spring will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday (20 May) in the Webb and Neal Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harry Walker in charge. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
He was dead on arrival at a local hospital at 11:45 am Monday (18 May).
A route salesman for Corley Distributing Co., he was a WWII, USN Veteran.
He was born in Hillsville, VA on 12 Jan 1925, a son of Mrs. Metta Grace Jett of Auburn, NY and the late Joseph T. Jett.
Other survivors include his wife, two sons and two daughters; five sisters.
