Death comes to Elisha B. Moore
Elisha Bell Moore, 79, 308 South Arthur, El Dorado, Kansas, died here at 7:10 a.m. this morning following a long illness. He had been a resident of El Dorado since 1917.
Mr. Moore was born in Caldwell County, Kentucky, on August 2, 1871. A retired farmer, he homesteaded land in Wichita County, Kansas and later lived in Arkansas before coming here to live.
He was married to Nona Belle Allen and following her death was married to Clara B. Ellenburger on Nov. 7, 1923. Mr Moore was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are the widow; a son, Willis E. Moore of
El Dorado, as stepson, Harry Patton of Chicago, Il; three step-daughters, Mrs Alice McFarlan of Madison, Ks., Mrs. Clara Balcom of Corsicana, Tx. and Mrs. Helen Kropf of Chelsea, Ks.; and 13 grandchildren. Another son, Virgil died in 1920.
Funeral service will be announced later through the Byrd Funeral Home.
