Miss Fannie Bowman, daughter of the late Col. Isaac Bowman, and sister of the late Geo. H. Bowman, died at her home in Norfolk on Saturday aged 70 years.
Miss Bowman was born at Meadow Mills, the Bowman homestead, up on North river, but for the past 30 years had made her home with her niece Miss Fannie Brill, in Norfolk.
She was a woman of fine sense and her gentle disposition and pleasing personality made her many friends. Since early life she had been a devoted member of the M. E. Church.
Her remains were brought here Monday for interment in Prospect Hill cemetery, and the services were conducted by Rev. N. N. Hall.
