Charles Raymond Lane, of Lincoln, AL passed away May 18, 2022, at the age of 90. His funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Monday, May 23, 2022, at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service.
Raymond was a native of Gadsden, AL and lived most of his life in Lincoln, AL. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and served on the Lincoln City Council for 8 years. He formerly worked for A.E. Burgess Construction and retired from Ashland Oil Company. He was a longtime member of Eastaboga Masonic Lodge #155. Raymond enjoyed fishing, gardening, and bowling.
Mr. Lane is survived by his wife Frances Combs Lane, son Jimmy Lane (Sharon), extended generations.
He is preceded in death by his parents Eula and Frank Lane, wife Elna Lane, son Jeff Lane, granddaughter Jennifer Lane McCoy, and sister Kathryn Greene
