James E. Fiegel, age 78, US Army Sergeant of the Vietnam War, at rest May 5, 2022; Dear son of the late Joseph and Helen Fiegel, nee Riehle; Beloved brother of the late Joan (late Joe) Sheehy and the late Edward (Linda) Fiegel; Loving uncle of Joe (Noelle) Sheehy, Diane (Joe) DuCharme, Michael (Kimberly) Sheehy, Anna (Ray) Kane, James (Ida) Fiegel and great uncle to 14 great nieces and nephews. Jim will be greatly missed by his fellow Leo High School classmates and especially his Army Buddies. Proud graduate of Leo High School, Class of 1962 and the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Class of 1970 where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing. He was a loyal fan of the Chicago White Sox and the sport of Baseball. Jim had a yearly pilgrimage to "The Farmers' in Belleville, Illinois to spend time with his cousins and eat peaches. He was an avid genealogist working on many family lines for decades. Jim loved his nieces and nephews and their families, and will be greatly missed by everyone.
