BONNIE LOU BRYANT
84, of Cass City formerly of Monroe, died peacefully Tuesday, May 17, 2022 in Medilodge of Cass City. She was born May 14, 1938 in Oklahoma City, OK to John Evan and Cora Frances (McBride) Lee. Bonnie was the youngest of fourteen children. She married James Erwin Bryant, Jr. on November 13, 1959 in Norman, OK.

Bonnie graduated from Norman High School in 1957 and Hill Business School of Oklahoma City in 1958. For over thirty years, she was employed as a nurse's aide working with long-term care patients. Bonnie was skilled at crocheting and crafted many hats and scarves for almost everyone. Together, she and James collected baseball cards and attended numerous professional baseball games of various teams. Bonnie got a kick out of watching monster trucks and WWE Wrestling on television. She always made sure that the deer and birds, that came to her window, were well fed. Bonnie loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Living Word Worship Center of Cass City.

Bonnie is survived by her children: Melody (Jack) Benschoter of Brandon, FL; Jeptha (Angela) Bryant of Cass City; grandchildren: Tara (Mark) Fibranz, Tasha (Jesse) Rader, Stephen Kekes, Bethany (Scott) Buck; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Beulah Stever of Cottonwood, AZ; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, James; siblings: John, Lonnie, Pat, Melvin, Earl, Nora, Noda, Eura, Opal, Alma, Samuel, Clida.

Funeral service held 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2022 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Pastor Alfred Whittaker of Victory Temple Church of God in Erie and Rev. Mark Fibranz of Point Church of God, Lapeer officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Living Word Worship Center of Cass City.
