Frances Mae Slape, 42, of Stockton, died of cancer Monday in a Stockton hospital. Mrs. Slape had lived in Stockton for the past seven years. She was a homeaker. Survivors include her husband James M. Slape Jr. of Stockton; her parents, Otis and Marjorie Perkins of Georgetown, Ky.; a son, James M. Slape III of Texas; a daughter, Kelly D. Slape of Stockton; three sisters, Florence Baker, Carolyn Shewmaker and Mary Shewmaker, all of Kentucky; and two brothers, Billy J. Walters and David Shewaker, both of Kentucky.
