ARGUS - Edward S., June 26, 1967, of 40 Wood Lee Rd., Williamsville. N.Y.. beloved husband of Laura Miller; father of Mrs Edmund D. (Carol) Stevens Jr. and Donald E. Argus; brother of Harry E. Argus and Mrs. John J. (Clara) Schifferli and the late William J., George L., Aloysius, Joseph L., Mrs. Florence Hansen, Mildred and Carl F. Argus; also survived by seven grandchildren. Funeral from Wm. A. Rolling Funeral Home Inc., 3000 Delaware at Tremont Thursday morning and from Christ the King Church.

OBITUARY-
Edward S. Argus
A Requiem Mass for Edward S. Argus. 70, a retired Dunlop Tire & Rubber Corp. department manager will be celebrated at 9:30 Thursday morning in Christ the King Church, 2 Lamarck Dr., Snyder.
The Mass will be preceded by prayers at 1:45 in the William A. Rolling Funeral Home, 3000 Delaware Ave, Kenmore. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.
Mr. Argus, of 60 Wood Lee Rd.. Amherst, was dead on arrival Monday at Deaconess Hospital after a short illness.
He retired seven years ago as manager of the site and salvage department at Dunlop Tire & Rubber here. He was a department manager during most of his more than 40 years with the company.
Mr. Argus, a native of Buffalo, was a graduate of Technical High School and was a Navy veteran of World War I.
Surviving are his wife, the former Laura Miller ; a daughter, Mrs. Edmund D. Stevens of Williamsville ; a son, Donald E., of the Town of Tonawanda; a brother, Harry E., of Kenmore; a sister Mrs. John J. Schifferli of Kenmore and seven grandchildren.
