Pamela Marie Brown, 69, of Stone Mountain, GA passed away May 13, 2022. She was born on October 4, 1952 in Atlanta, GA to Virginia Elizabeth Bryan Brown and James H. Brown Sr.

Pam grew up in Jacksonville, FL and graduated with a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Georgia. Pam had a passion for teaching over her 30 year career and loved her students. She had a soft heart for stray animals and devoted much of her time and energy to supporting animal rescue and adoption. She loved music, reading and her cats but most of all she loved helping others and spending time with family. Her quick wit, honesty and caring heart were loved and deeply appreciated by everyone who touched her life and most of all Pam was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was a strong woman and to those who loved her and knew her best she would be the first to say "Love me and the memories but let me go and pursue the happiness I always wanted for you." Thank you Pam. We are better people because you were a part of our life's journey.

Survivors include her brother, James H. Brown Jr.; sister, Michele Elizabeth Bryan; nephews, Shawn Brown and Liam Eaton; and nieces, Chrissy Lonsdale, Gracie Bryan, and Autumn Eaton.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home & Crematory in Peachtree City, GA in the Rose Room.

Following the service, the family will lay Pam to rest in a private burial ceremony.
