Delwin Irvin Glosser, 74, died July 3 at Burnham City Hospital in Champaign where he had been a patient for 10 days. His funeral was Sunday afternoon at the United Methodist Church, Rev. Paul Du Bois and Rev. Bernard Shroeder of Murdock officiating. Burial was in Maroa Cemetery. Trigg Funeral Home was in charge.
He was born April 24, 1895 at Maroa, a son of William H. and Rebecca Alice Cook Glosser. He married Florence Mae Taylor on June 4, 1919 at Caputa, SD. She died in 1949.
Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Shearer of Villa Grove, IL; a grandson and a grandaughter; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Malone and Mrs. Margaret Tolby, both of Long Beach, CA.
Mr. Glosser was a member of the Eagles Lodge of Clinton; DeWitt County Sportsman Club and a 50 year member of American Legion.
