Wilvin 'Bill' Burden 84, retired painter
MOULTON -- Funeral for Wilvin "Bill" Burden, 84, of Town Creek will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Crumpton and the Rev. Roger Loosier officiating. Burial will be in Old Liberty Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. Mr. Burden died today, June 28, 2000, at Shoals Medical Center in Muscle Shoals. He was born July 18, 1915, in Lawrence County. He was a retired painter from Martin Stove and Range Co. in Florence and was a member of Old Liberty Congregational Christian Church. He was the widower of Frances Burden and the father of the late Billy Wayne Burden. He is survived by one sister, Sadie Pate of Town Creek; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
