Alan worked as a project manager for Accent Glass. He enjoyed anything to do with model trains. He was the proud owner of Dick's Train House and a lifetime member of the T.C.A. Alan was also a collector and lifetime member of the National Westmoreland Glass Collectors Club. He enjoyed the friendships that he made over the years through buying and selling antiques. Alan was an active member of the Police Rod and Gun Club, where he enjoyed making memories with his family and friends.
Alan is survived by his loving spouse of 34 years, Karen (McCabe); two sons, Justin (Nicole) Wells and Shawn (girlfriend Abby Filapose) Wells; and grandchildren, Landon and Isabella.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2022, at the VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., Delmont, 724-468-1177. A blessing service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., Delmont, with Father Tyler J. Bandura, officiating. Burial will take place in the Twin Valley Memorial Park.
