Funeral services for Harry L. Bates, 67, 37 North Front street (sic), Steelton, who died Monday at his home, will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, with the Rev. U. A. Guss, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Steelton, of which he was a member, officiating.
Burial will be in the Paxtang Cemetery. The body may be viewed at the home Thursday evening from 7 until 9 o'clock.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Rachael Bates; a brother Charles Bates, Chester; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Smith and Mrs. William Wolfersberger, both of this city and one granddaughter, Miss Winifred E. Bates.
Mr. Bates was a charter member of the Knights of Malta.
