SCOTTSDALE – Merle C. Uhlig, 56, a real estate broker and former sales manager for Modern Builders Inc. in Phoenix, died yesterday in a Scottsdale hospital.
Mr. Uhlig moved here from Long Meadow, Mass., in 1949. He lived at 7663 E. Meadowbrook.
Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Messinger Mortuary, 515 E. Indian School.
The Rev. Henry B. Getz will officiate. Burial will be in Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline M.; a son, Merle Jr.; his father, William; a brother, Charles W.; three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Markiewiez, Mrs. Diane Guy, and Mrs. Harriet Roubik; and seven grandchildren.
