Claudia Alexander Pace, 87, died on Sunday, May 8, 2022 in Brenham, TX.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 12, 2022 prior to the funeral service at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Pastor Jim Delony officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham.

Claudia was born on September 19, 1934 in Harris County to Marvin Elmore and Louise Simpson Alexander. She graduated from Aldine High School and worked as a bookkeeper in the hardware industry. She married her husband, Perry Addison Pace, on June 20, 1952. She was a dedicated wife and loving mother, and had a deeply rooted faith in God. She was a big fan of John Wayne, George and Laura Bush, and the Astros. She was a collector of swan figures of all kinds and had an impressive selection.

Claudia is survived by her husband, Perry Pace of Brenham, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Glenn Pace and wife Debra Anne of Bowie, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Carol Ann Rios and husband Tom of Spring, TX; brother, Marvin Alexander Jr.; sister, Jennifer Alexander; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Louise Alexander.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Brenham Church of Christ or the charity of your choice.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main Street, Brenham, TX 77833.
