Heath Allen Brown, 47, of Grain Valley, died on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Heath was born on February 2, 1975, in Norfolk, VA, the son of Ronald and Joyce (Pierce) Brown. He was united in marriage to Amanda Duncan of Richmond in June of 1998; to this union, their two children were born; they later divorced.

Survivors include: his parents, Ronald and Joyce Brown of Gilbert, SC; two sons, Payden Brown and Tanner Brown, both of Richmond; brother, Nathaniel Brown of Gilbert, SC; sister, Stacey (Jack) Williams of Gilbert, SC; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Janet and Robert Duncan of Richmond.

Heath loved the cabin at the lake; this was his favorite place to be. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating with his sons. Heath also loved coaching the boys' Little League Baseball and Football teams. He enjoyed working in the yard and planting flowers in the garden. Heath's biggest passion was art. More than anything, Heath enjoyed doing special things for people. He always wanted to give others the perfect gift and would put so much thought into each and every one of them; most gifts were made especially by him. Heath loved to speak to others about Jesus. He will be dearly missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Heath Allen Brown Memorial Fund. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main Street-P.O. Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
