Chester Lynn McGaha, age 55, of Newport passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at his home.
He was a retired Marine having served in Desert Storm. Later he was employed by Wal-Mart in Newport until his health declined.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ashley and Pauline Green, nephew Danny R. McGaha, Jr. and family.
Survivors include his brothers and sisters, Wanda (Jeff Lillard) Stanley, Danny (Rebecca) McGaha, Vickey Sue (Richie Dick) Jarnigan, Albert (Lori Hollaway) Green along with several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of special friends.
The family would like to express thanks to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice.
A Celebration of Life service will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Bible Believer's Cowboy Church, 200 Major Jim Burnett Dr. Newport, TN 37821.
