Austin Fiddner, 22, of Danbury, sprinted into the hands of God on Wednesday, November 4th, as the result of a car accident. He leaves the loving home of John and Nancy Fiddner for a better place.

He leaves behind his favorite uncle, Mike McGetrick, best friend Richie Franscone and his faithful dog Dahlia.

Austin was a force to be reckoned with in our local Danbury Youth Sports both in basketball and baseball, playing on numerous travel teams. Austin recently was a starter for the Danbury Westerners, he got a hit in his first at bat and finished the game at third base.

Friends will be received at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury on Saturday, November 7th between the hours of 2:00 to 4:30pm. His uncle, Tom Cacy will preside over a service at 4:30pm at the funeral home. Come and say good bye.
