Born April 10, 1922, in Fresno, Calif., she graduated from Fresno Technical School in June 1940 and married Howard Dillon. For many years, the family lived in Santa Clara, Calif., then later in Sutherlin, Ore. She moved to Auburn eight months ago to be near family members.
Mrs. Dillon worked as an insurance company secretary and bookkeeper. She enjoyed camping with her husband and their Shetland sheep dogs.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Howard Dillon in 1997. She is survived by her son Joe Dillon of Auburn; and two grandchildren, two nieces and a nephew.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. today at Messiah Lutheran Church in Auburn. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Auburn. Memorials may be made in her name to the Messiah Lutheran Church Scholarship Fund.
