Virginia Marie VanMeter, age 83 of Springdale, passed away May 1, 2022. Virginia was born May 30, 1938 in Marble, Arkansas to parents Sam Taylor and Grace Smith Taylor.

She was united in marriage to Larry VanMeter and they enjoyed 42 years of marriage before his passing in 2018. Virginia as a member of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed her grandkids and family as well as gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; parents and sister, Juanita Bolinger and brother, Willard Taylor.

Virginia is survived by her children, Rick Bolinger and wife Noi Bolinger, Larry D. VanMeter and wife Kerry VanMeter, Roger VanMeter, Lanita Trotter and Wilber Johnson; her grandchildren, Ashley Dunn, Candon Bolinger, Shannon Lasater, Larry Lee VanMeter, Krissy Reid, Chase VanMeter, Elliott VanMeter, Joanna Hughes, Jessica and Jennifer Johnson; great grandchildren, Dakota Bolinger, Chance Young, Drew Lasater, Joey, Lela and Katie VanMeter, Jena Keller, Jackson McDaniel, Jaymz Duncan and Macee McDufee; and sister Carolyn Bowen and husband Leo Bowen. Virginia was greatly loved and will be missed by all.

The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday in the Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow. Pastor Brad Spurlock of the First Freewill Baptist Church of Lowell will be officiating. Services are under the direction of Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 West Walnut, Rogers.
