Zina Beth Robertson, age 57 of Cheboygan, died Monday morning, April 25, 2022 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor after a courageous cancer battle. She was born November 10, 1964 in Laurium, MI, the daughter of Donald and Ann Lukima. Zina worked in customer service for various businesses, including in several automobile dealerships in northern Michigan. She loved being outdoors- hunting, gardening, cleaning cemetery markers, and rock hounding were a few of her favorite activities. Zina also liked working on the family tree. She enjoyed scrap booking, crafting, and playing games on her iPad, and loved traveling, especially camping. More than anything, she treasured time with her family, and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Zina was preceded in death by her father, Donald Lukima and son-in-law, Kevin Sullivan. She is survived by her husband, Curtis Robertson; children, Kevin (Melanie) Bykkonen of Sault Ste. Marie, Canada and Holly Robertson of Fenton; grandchildren, Mihkel, Lucas, Zina, and Layla; mother, Ann Lukima of Calumet; sister, Melody Snyder (Sue McDaniel) of Calumet and Cricket (Randy) Eckloff of Ahmeek; step-children, Mark Robertson of Aurora, IL and Daniel (Erin) Robertson of Holly; and step-grandchildren, Madison, Charlotte, and Harper. Private graveside services will be held at Solon Township Cemetery, Cedar Springs. Memorial contributions may be given to the Captain Robert H. Robertson Memorial Scholarship Fund at Cedar Springs High School.
