Bridget was born on December 6, 1934 in the Town of Stockton to the late Barney & Regina (Prais) Literski. She attended grade school at Town Hall School and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1952.

Bridget married Carl Morton on August 20, 1955 at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church in Fancher. They had two sons Garry and Kenneth.

She was employed with Sentry Insurance. Bridget and Carl were devoted foster parents for Catholic Charities caring for 81 infants. She was a lifelong member of the VFW and DAV Auxiliaries. She belonged to St. Peter Rosary Society for over 50 years.

Bridget loved children. Nothing brought a bigger smile to her face then when any child came to visit. Her door was always open to anyone needing a kind word or a hug.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Barney & Regina; husband, Carl; sons, Garry and Kenneth; four sisters – Violet Wroblewski, Bernice Fredock, Geraldine Hintz and Margaret Adamczak and sister-in-law Bernice Morton.

Special thanks to her family at The Lodge at Whispering Pines. Their care and love during the past seven years and especially the last several weeks is appreciated more than words can say.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at St. Peter Catholic Church. Visitation will be held prior from 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass in the Faustina Room. Interment will follow in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
