Jerry graduated from Bolivar High in the class of 1960, where he enjoyed playing football and was an active member of Future Farmers of America. After high school, Jerry took over the family farm and ran it until his passing.
Jerry served in the United States Army and Reserves and was discharged in 1968. He served as a volunteer fireman with the Morrisville Fire Department and was an active board member of the St. Wenceslaus Cemetery. He was also an usher and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Catherine.
He is survived by his sister, Alice Bunker; brother, Joe Ruzicka; Cousin, Catherine Self, as well as nephew, Mark Bunker and Roger Bunker; and niece, Anna Klovstad and husband, Sven; and dear friend, Michael Campbell.
Burial Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery in Bolivar, MO.
