Daughter of Jim and Mary James Walters. She was a graduate of Franklin County High and Truett McConnell College. Before retiring to the Red Hill community, she lived in Atlanta and worked for retail credit/Equifax for many years. She was a member of Broad River Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Smith; brother, Lamar Walters; brother-in-law, James Smith; and niece, Vickie Smith. Survivors include her sisters-in-law, Maggie Jameson Walters of Foley, AL, and Mary Farrow Smith of Eastanollee.
