Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Pinkston, associate pastor of The Church at Quail Creek, officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St.
Mrs. Edwards was born Sept. 2, 1915, in Paris. She lived in Amarillo most of her life. During World War II, Mrs. Edwards was employed by Pantex as a welder. After the war, she worked at the Avalon Ballroom as a waitress for many years. She also worked as an Avon representative for more than 20 years.
She married Carmen "Curley" Edwards in 1939 in Amarillo. He died in 1964.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Yarbrough and husband Jim of Amarillo; two sisters, Janice Wilson of Shawnee, Okla., and Ruby James of Shamrock; a brother, J.C. Chandler of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Delilah Bellar and husband Donnie of Amarillo and Debbie Campbell of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; three great-grandchildren, Brandon Bellar and Marcus Bellar, both of Amarillo, and Miranda Campbell of Nashville, Tenn.
The family suggests memorials be to Olivia's Angels, BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105.
