Mrs. Ayers Dies At 92 GREER Mrs. Laura Jane (Ayers) Ayers, 92, widow of Moses Ayers, and a former resident of Greer, died at 4:45 p.m. Monday in a Greenwood nursing home. Mrs. Ayers was born and reared In Burnsville. N. C, a daughter of the late Obediah and Patricia Gibbs Ayers. She had been a resident of Greer for 31 years, but for the past several years had lived with a daughter, Mrs. Mary Nelson of Rt. 2, Greenwood. She was a member of Apalache Methodist Church. Surviving are 5 daughters, Mrs. Nelson, Mrs. R. C. Hice of Taylors, Mrs. Emma Hice of Tiger-vine, Mrs. Georgia Sandling and Mrs. Harriett Gibson, both of Greer; 5 sons, Ace Ayers of Anderson, Judson Ayers of Woodruff, H. D. Ayers of Newberry, Clyde Ayers of Johnson City, Tenn.. and Douglas Ayers of Burnsville, N, C; 50 grandchildren, 30 greatgrandchildren and 16 reat-great-grandchildven. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Wood Mortuary.
