Funeral services for Ethel Gaylena Ahl of Redding will be conducted on Tuesday at McDonald's Redding Chapel. Mrs. Ahl died Saturday at her home, she was 83. Born June 7, 1895 in Virginia, she lived in Shasta County 16 years. She was a member of the Redding Church of the Nazarene and the Salvation Army. She leaves a son, Ivan McCollum of Redding; three daughters: Gladys Moak of Central Point, Ore., Ruth Stillwell of Big Pine, Ca., and Martha Willard of Medford, Ore., a brother Otis Lipps of Bend, Ore.; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Redding Cemetery.
