Funeral for Lucino Gaona Acosta, 60, of Nacogdoches, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Laird Funeral Home with the Rev. Luis Arroyave officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Acosta died March 27, 2007, in Nacogdoches. Born June 30, 1946, in Aguadulce, Vera Cruz, Mexico, he was the son of Victorico Acosta and Bonifacia Gaona. He was employed as a laborer at Lone Star Feeds, and he was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Julia Diaz Acosta; daughters, Margarita Cruz of Mexico and Teresa Acosta, Griselda Acosta and Gisela Sanchez, all of Nacogdoches; sons, Jose Luis Acosta and Tomas Acosta, both of Nacogdoches, and Constantino Acosta of Mexico; and 30 grandchildren.
