Marcelle (Walpole) Kelley, 79 of Jena, Louisiana passed from this life on Tuesday, April 26, 2022.
She was born to the union of William Morris Walpole, Sr. and Hazel M. (Blackstock) Walpole on Wednesday, January 20, 1943 in Jena, Louisiana,
Mrs. Marcelle was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Kelley, and three brothers Terry Gilbert Walpole, Thurman Earl Walpole, and W. M. "Sonny" Walpole, Jr.,
Those left to love and miss her are a daughter Jenny (Zeagler) Kight & husband Scott, of Dry Prong, LA, two sons Jim Zeagler & wife Nila, of Summerville, LA, and Jack Zeagler & wife Vicki, Belah, LA, two sisters Martiel Jones & husband David, of Jena, LA, and Velma Landry & husband Don, of Breaux Bridge, LA, one brother Grayson Walpole & wife Diane, of Searcy, LA, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 28, 2022 in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens with Jim Zeagler, Jack Zeagler and Rev. Shad Tibbs officiating. Mrs. Marcelle will be laid to rest in the Jena Cemetery following the service, under the directions of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Kyle Kight, Taylor Kight, Michael Zeagler, Jamie Zeagler, Grayson Walpole, and Dick Zeagler, and as honorary pallbearer Reggie Ingram.
