Florence Malstrom married Jackson B. Corbet, Jr. on May 21, 1904 in Manhattan, New York.

Married in Seattle
A quiet wedding was celebrated at Seattle yesterday whereby Harold H. Malstrom, one of the LEdger's swiftest linotype operators, was married to Miss Florence Brown, daughter of Captain Brown, of the steamer Otter. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Mr. McReynolds. Mr. and Mrs. Malstrom will reside in Tacoma.

Mrs. Corbet Dies In Hospital Here
Mrs. Florence Corbet, 69, of 809 So. I St., the widow of Jackson B. Corbet, Jr., founder and publisher of the Marine Digest Weeklly, died Sunday in a local hospital.
Mrs. Corbet was born in Quinnesec, Mich., the daughter of Capt. Roscoe G. Brown, who operated one of the early trading vessels on Puget Sound. Mrs. Corbet and her husband, who edited the Marine Digest from 1922 until his death five years ago, and who also was marine editor for the Seattle Times, lived on Vashon Island from 1917 to 1931 when they moved to Seattle. In 1941 they came to Tacoma.
Mrs. Corbet, a member of the Clara Barton ten, D. U. V., of Seattle and the Vashon Island Women's club, is survived by two brothers, Frank M. and Ernest E. Brown, and two sisters, Mrs. Hazel L. Willis and Mrs. Dorothy M. Underwood, all of Tacoma; three nephews and a niece.
Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the C. C. Mellinger Memorial Funeral church, the Rev. W. A. Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Tacoma cemetery.
