John was born in Grover, NC and raised in Casar, NC, before spending most of his life in Bradley Beach, NJ. He leaves behind his sister, Beth S. Lattimore of Polkville, NC; two nephews, Dobbin Lattimore of Polkville, NC, David Lattimore of Boulder, CO, and a niece, Rachel Lattimore of Washington, DC.
John was an Exempt Fireman from Bradley Beach Fire Company, and a Shriner life member.
A memorial visitation was held April 14,2022 from 5-7 at Francioni, Taylor & Lopez Funeral Home, 1200 10th Ave, Neptune.
