Services for Herbert F. Buchholz, 80, are at 10 a.m. Friday in Memoryland Memorial Park with Rev. Jerry Scott and Frank Thompson officiating.
Mr. Buchholz died Monday in Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.
He was born Feb. 10, 1920 in Lidgerwood, N.D., to Ed and Fredricka Delzer Buchholz. He married Pearl R. Jenks on Feb. 11, 1945 in Austin.
He served in the U. S. Army during World War II, was a retired plumber and a member of Tri-City Baptist Church in Tempe, Ariz. A former resident of Chandler, Ariz., he had lived in Greenville one month.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville; sons Arvid Buchholz of Greenville, Harland Buchholz of Strawberry, Ariz., and Mervin Buchholz of Valley Village, Calif., 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
