The friends and acquaintances of Mrs. Carrie Harman Minor were saddened to learn of her death in Atlanta, Ga., Sept. 14th. Mrs. Minor spent her girlhood in Warsaw, where she is still well remembered. At the early age of 11 years she became a member of the Baptist church and soon proved herself an active and efficient worker, serving for a number of years as Secretary of the Sunday School with great acceptance. Nine years ago she went to Atlanta where she was connected with the wholesale dry good firm of Douglas, Thomas and Davison. About 3 and a half months ago a severe illness set in which resulted fatally. During her residence in Atlanta she made many friends. With touching devotion they gathered about her after her death and showed their affection by preparing her remains for the long trip north. Kind friends spared no pains to make her beautiful and showed their love by floral tributes, which arrived here retaining much of their original fragrance. The funeral service was held at the residence of Frank E. Hurlburt on Liberty Street, Rev. O.R. McKay officiating and was a fitting testimonial of the high regard of her Warsaw friends.
NOTE: Obit spells her name as Harman Minor but stone clearly reads Harmon Miner.
