Dorothea Markway Croff, 82, Colorado Springs, Colo., formerly of Wardsville, died Tuesday in Colorado Springs. She was born June 11, 1915, in Wardsville, a daughter of Albert and Marie Winkelmann Markway. She was married May 1, 1937, in Wardsville, to John Croff, who survives at the home.

Other survivors include: one son, John Croff Jr., Colorado Springs; two daughters, Mary Claire Bell and Jo Ann Croff, both of Colorado Springs; one sister, Mary Kay Duckworth, Wardsville; five brothers, Maurice Markway, Marcellus Markway and Louis Markway, all of Wardsville, and Norbert Markway and Jerome Markway, both of St. Louis; and two grandsons. One son, Peter Croff, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Church, Colorado Springs. The Rev. James Bracke will officiate. Private inurnment will be held at a later date. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Thursday at Blunt Mortuary, Colorado Springs, with a rosary at 7 p.m.
