Princess Varvara Alekseevna Repnina-Volkonskaya (nee Countess Razumovskaya , 1778-1864) is the heiress of a significant part of the colossal fortune of the Razumovskys (16,000 souls and the town of Yagotin ), wife of Prince Nikolai Grigoryevich Repnin-Volkonsky . She did a lot for women's education: she contributed to the establishment of the Elizabethan and Pavlovsk Institutes , for which she donated significant amounts; opened a women's institute in Poltava .
