Ruth was a 1943 graduate of Sylvia High School, Sylvia, KS, and later graduated from Salt City Business College, Hutchinson, KS. She was a homemaker and longtime member of Take Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS).
On January 19, 1948, Ruth married Ray L. Cramer. They shared over 42 years of marriage, prior to his death on November 3, 1990.
Ruth is survived by: her children, Stanley Cramer of Hutchinson, KS, Constance Hatch of Burlington, KS, and Marilyn Cramer of Hutchinson, KS; grandchildren, Andy Schuessler, Erin Schuessler, Emily Willard, Alex Cramer, and Spencer Chronister; stepgrandson, Bobby Chronister; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Schuessler, Jenna Schuessler, and Avery Binger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; brothers, Frank King, Jr. and Richard King; and sister, Phyllis Spicer.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will follow in Peace Creek Cemetery in rural Stafford County. Friends may sign the book from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice & HomeCare of Reno County or Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
