Maxine L. Hardesty
McPherson – Maxine L. Hardesty, 75, McPherson, died Monday, May 14, 2007.
Mrs. Hardesty was born Maxine L. French on Jan. 13, 1932, in Salina. She was a
homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Mabel (Knapp) French; her
husband, Harold R., in 2002; a son, Terrell Garrett, in 1997; a daughter, Carol
Varner, in 1989; three sisters, Peggy, Madeline and Laura French; a brother, Bob
French; and a grandson, Jason Erickson, in 1981.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley K. Erickson and husband Terry and Joan
Diehl, all of Salina; two sons, Kenneth and Mike, both of Salina; 10
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
There will be no service or visitation. The body was cremated. Inurnment will be
in Roselawn Memorial Park.
